About me

I am an economist working on economic inequality, intergenerational mobility, and the economics of education. I typically use large administrative datasets in combination with causal inference or machine learning techniques to answer relevant questions in these areas. For examples, please see my research page.

I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Economics Discipline Group at the University of Technology Sydney. I recently (April 2026) obtained my PhD in applied microeconomics at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam under the supervision of Nadine Ketel and Maarten Lindeboom. In January and February 2025, I visited the Centre for Economic Performance (CEP) at the London School of Economics.
